Major Geomagnetic Storms Happening Now: Earth Taking Hits from 6 X-Class Solar Flares

Over the past 48 hours, our sun has launched six X-Class Solar Flares towards earth.

X-Class flares are the strongest flare category on the current scientific measuring scale in terms of intensity.

Six X-Class Solar Flares (circled in green) recorded over recent 48 hours.

All of the flares produced CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections).

CMEs are dense plasma streams that cause geomagnetic storms on earth when they hit our protective magnetic shield.

The sunspot group that released the X-Class solar flares.

The solar storms began today and will continue throughout the weekend.

As I write this, we are currently experiencing a KP 8 level storm – the second highest on the storm intensity measuring scale.

High Geomagnetic Storm intensity currently at KP level 8.

You can expect service interruptions of various communications such as website networks, internet service, satellite TV and possibly cellular communications.

Also, expect to see aurora in areas that are rare to see such atmospheric occurrences.

Aurora prediction data already shows viewing probability pushing significantly southward into the United States. And this is the early stages of the3-day geomagnetic storm cycle.

This will be local and regional depending on the network integrity of certain areas.

Also, anyone with cardiac and immune system health compromises can be negatively affected.

Many will also feel unusually emotional and easily agitated.

This is not a solar EMP level event (solar kill shot) that could take down entire power grids worldwide. Yet some outages may occur in localized areas.
